World Hope Foundation in India

World Hope Foundation work in India began in 2004 with a vision to meet  human need in poverty-stricken communities in India and and its environment in Asia.  In 2005, WHF first development project in India where education scholarship was awarded to 80 children of prostitute in bangalore, India.  WHF India also launches its membership body in 2005 where youths and adults where registered as volunteers to work with local communities in undertaking in relief and development projects.

Overall programs undertaking in India includes

·        Providing uniforms and school supplies so children will be allowed to go to school.

·        Boosting school attendance by providing educational facilities.

·        Improving the living conditions of families by supplying building materials for the construction of safe housing.

·        Reducing the risk of waterborne diseases by constructing new wells that will make safe, clean drinking water more accessible to children and their families.

·        Conducting health check-ups for children.

·         Organizing workshops to teach families about hygiene, nutrition, AIDS, and other important health issues.

·         Training farmers in agricultural skills that will help them grow more nutritious foods for their families.

WHF India also help Youth/Students with scholarships, education programs, training sessions, volunteer opportunity programs in branch centers around the world, conferences both local and at international level, and will also train to work among all sectors of our society. World Hope foundation India believes in human dignity and that all people have a right to a life in which their basic human needs are met. We value and honor the wisdom and experience of local communities we strive to work with communities to develop their means, opportunities, and inherent capacities.
